TO THE READER….

Since Mass Effect 3 release last spring many gamers have come to dread the end of the trilogy that had become popular among RPGs. For many people they were anxious to see the final battle with Reapers. What they found out instead was a sad and disheartening ending in which Shepard sacrifices himself to destroy the Reapers.

The ending took guts to make but it was done sloppy and left no room, (In my opinion) for a sequel. Though not everyone will agree with me, and many may criticize what I am about to do, I firmly believe that the game needs a bit of justice.

In this first book of the 2nd Mass Effect Trilogy Shepard is male, but he is also just barely alive. His "Girlfriend" Tali'Zorah, and his friends and commanders are fighting the final battle in London. Little do they know what part Shepard will play in his final act to save everyone. After Shepard enters the Crucible many believe he will not come back alive, neither does he. As the Crucible fires Shepard's memory is wiped clean, and as Alliance soldiers launch a mission to recover him, they find him deep in a coma. The rest of the story will play out as you read it.

The book will be from various viewpoints and will attempt to expand the Mass Effect Universe. Sadly though most of the events will occur within the Sol System, you'll find out why. Mass Effect: The Fall will take place from August 2186 when the Battle of London occurs to January 2188. It will hopefully expand Shepard's adventures and add information where there are gaps.

In the end this novel was written for the advancement of the ME series and an alternate ending to one of the "oddest" endings in video game history.

I uploaded a few video's on YouTube about some stuff about ME3 in the last week... it wasn't even about the ending, but it (I hope) showed that the writing was flawed in the entire game.
